The POLA ORBIS Group is accelerating efforts to expand its multi-brand strategy into Asia, particularly China, to underpin higher overseas sales and market share.

Jurlique—an Australian brand promoting products made with natural ingredients extracted from plants grown under pesticide-free, biodynamic methods on the company’s own farms. The brand enjoys a solid reputation worldwide as a pioneer in the natural, organic cosmetics category.
Jurlique has established a presence in some 20 countries and regions and has been making significant inroads in Asia. The brand has launched high-performance products in the anti-aging and skin-brightening categories and is seeking to derive synergies with technologies under the POLA ORBIS Group umbrella.

Expansion mainly in China and Hong Kong

Jurlique products are available in around 20 countries, sold primarily at department stores, directly operated stores, and duty-free shops. China and Hong Kong are priority markets, and Jurlique has grown steadily since sales commenced in earnest in 2009, with the sales ratio exceeding 50% as of 2020. The company has approximately 40 stores in mainland China at the end of 2020.

H2O PLUS

Joined POLA ORBIS Group in July 2011

For over 30 years, H2O+ from the U.S. has been the hydration authority known for delivering real results. The products have been developed based on the concepts of "power of water" and "innovation". Today, H2O+ takes consumers Beyond Hydration with Japan designed skincare meticulously formulated with clean, effective ingredients that are ethically sourced and made with the health of our bodies and the environment in mind.

Market Development, Emphasizing North America

H2O+ offers the products mainly at online stores in North America and at cosmetics specialty stores overseas. The brand also has an amenity business with Disney in the United States and Hong Kong.
Developed in partnership with POLA R&M, the clinically proven Hydration Oasis Collection locks in moisture to help skin resiliency with a powerful clean formula with Hydro-Amino Infusion, Mini Hyaluronic Acid, and Skin Boost Technology.

POLA has been expanding as a high-prestige brand mainly in Asia.
Locally hired staff acquire skin analysis, counseling, and esthetic hospitality techniques under the enthusiastic tutelage of Japanese staff, enabling even overseas customers to enjoy hospitality typical of POLA.
Based on the scientifically proven comfort that Orbis provides, we are promoting a unique blend of mail-order and retail sales channels in Asia, particularly in China and Taiwan.
THREE kicked off overseas availability of products in 2013 with shops in Thailand. Efforts will be directed toward building demand in Asia with skincare products using Japanese ingredients and makeup designed by a New York makeup artist.
